Telkom REFUSED to do SIM swap

On 4th of December 2019 I've cancelled my contract online and also called the Telkom call centre to verify if they have received the notification. It was confirmed that my contract ends on 31st January 2020 and it will be cancelled. On the 30 January 2020 I lost my phone and on 31st January 2020 I called Telkom call centre to block the SIM card and I was told that they cannot do it and I should physically go to the store to do SIM swap. On Sunday 02/02/2020 I went to Mall@Reds and they told me that they are offline, therefore I went to Foresthill City and I was told the same thing. I then went to the store in Kylami Corner on 5/02/2020 around 16:00. I was assisted by Lukhanyiso Ndzayo, he couldn't do the SIM swap and he decided to call Telkom Customer Care. He explain what I wanted and then gave me the phone to speak to the Telkom Customer Care agent (Lerato). She told me that due to the pending contract cancellation, they cannot do SIM swap for me until the end of February. I asked to speak to the manager (Zanele Vilakazi), guess what, the manager wasn't there. Apparently she was on leave. So the store is running without the manager? How is that possible? Now, I'm stranded, I cannot even do bank or any other transactions cause I don't have my number. Telkom is refusing to just to do a SIM swap for me. Worse, for the month of February, I have been charged for FreeMe 1GB and Recurring Voice Minutes Bundle. How do they charge me for that if I won't have the SIM for the month? I'm really frustrated by this. So the entire month I cannot have any communication using that number? If Telkom cannot do the SIM swap, can they allow me to port the number then.
