Telkom R200 per min call charge to UK landlin
After 5 calls to customer service and waiting a total of 45 minutes to speak to people I eventually spoke to manager who didn't try and convince me that the standard rate to call the UK on a landline was R200 per minute. Looking at my account R320 had been deducted for 2 calls lasting a total time of 1min 20seconds. She told me she had escalated the problem and I should hear back within 72 hours. 4 days later I phoned again only to be told they closed thecase with no explanation. The new agent said she would reopen it. I had to wait a further few days and she would call be back. Four days later I ring again and yes, they closed the case again with no feedback. No notes on my account as to what is going on. No email or call to me stating the outcome. Utterly disgusted at the client service. I actually can't believe that one agent was adamant that calls cost that much and she told me to go look it up in the Internet if I didn't believe her! Really? Seriously? Telkom I have lost all faith in you now. Tell me why I should pay my next bill if you still haven't resolved my query and refunded my R320 from your overcharging?
