Telkom Query and Cancellation Services

Telkom is providing fibre / wifi services: I sold my house and had to cancel the service. It was an absolute nightmare to cancel the service and was done after multiple telephone calls, e-mails and a branch visit, but very late. Then, they continued to charge monthly fees which I reversed. If this was not enough they are now adding a penalty fee of +-R200 p.m. Be aware customers, Telkom is quick to sign up but slow to respond to any enquiry or cancellation. They provide 1021 - 9 numbers but no-one is able to assist.
