Telkom port sms is a ****

Trying to port with no success. It's been 6 days and nothing has happened. I went to telkom and they said the sms port system does not work. Why am I advised from your website to send the SMS and get a ref number for the port but it does now work? Poor poor service. So glad the port did not work. Will rather port to cell c today
