Telkom poor service delivery

I had issues with my adsl router and landline, I had called telkom over 12 times to eventually get this problem resolved.

A technician came and tested a new router and said everything is fine and my old router was a problem, he requested me to buy a new one and so I did so, I took my old one for testing and couldn't get it tested as the telkom store in Phoenix referred me to the cornubia branch and from there I eas referred to the gateway branch where I was told that it has been tested so no need to test it again but rather purchase a new one.

The router was bought and tested and worked in store but when I brought it bome, it didn't work, so I called the call centre and reset the router and my landline and then I got each working on its own, then it atiooed working again and called several times but to no avail, then I called again and was told that the router and splitter os a problem and I should take it to the store for a new one, the store consultant told me that a technician tested the router and it worked and that an open serve technician needs to sort out the splitter as stores only handle sales.

I logged another call and my case keeps getting closed until I got a call once more from a consultant whom helped me gwt a technician to sort out my problem.

A very arrogant technician came to my house and tested everything and found the problem to be the telkom box linking the landline and adsl times to the telephone pole lines and there was no fault with my phone or router.

My adsl line is sorted but not my landline as there is still a faint buzzing sound and my fault logged case with telkom has been closed.

I replaced my router for no reason and am not able to take it back as it is non-refundable.

Telkom has caused me he'll and disrepute over the past week and am not happy with their service delivery becuase nobody seems to know exactly what is happening. I therefore request compensation from telkom for all if my hassles caused by them.
