Telkom: Poor LTE Signal in fully covered area, no support from ISP

Good day,

On the 4th of January I started having performance issues with my LTE, the area in my suburb where my home is situated is fully covered for LTE signal as can be seen on Telkom’s coverage map. On an average day I’ll get a bandwidth download speed of 17 - 20mbps, I have had from time to time up to 37mbps. From 4th of January 2018 I've been experiencing degraded performance and super low bandwidth download speeds in the range of 1mbps. All of the bandwidths speed investigation was done with the help of Speedtest.net, sometimes the Upload and download speeds would be swapped around and id have a upload of 17mbps and download of 3mbps. I’ve logged this issue via the Telkom special forces team on Facebook on the 4th of January 2018 as I have always been successfully assisted by them in the past. As expected they ran me through the standard checks yet nothing worked. They issued a task number ********** 8 on the 29th of January only (almost 26 days later) They didn’t do a thing to solve the issue. Their mobile network went down somewhere during this time and that sorted the problem out then. Now im sitting with the same issue, Bad LTE signal and super frustrating, slow Bandwidth down speeds of about 1 – 5mbps. The same issue repeats itself. A new call was opened, ********** 5. I have not heard from them to date. My contract with them costs me R999 every moth yet it seems that in this country to get support the example have been set by our previous head of state, pay MORE for MORE.
