TELKOM POOR CUSTOMER SERVICES AND FAULTY EQUIPMENT

hI

I had 2 lines internet lines installed on 2 of my properties last year october (1300 per month) 1. I was left without internet services weeks on end and yet was charged for full services. exorbitant amount at one time I was owing 6000 which Telkom conveniently disconnected my intermitent services and even charged me reconnection fees. Trust me when they see they reimburse you if your services is disrupted is a whole lot of hogwash. Every month I have a time that i do have intermittent services and when you call the callcentre they conveniently say the services is down in the entire durban area, however when you investigate via colleagues and friends they confirm their services are all in order. The other thing they do ,is conveniently drop the call. this will mean you call and hold on for another 20 to 30 minutes to be assisted, When you request the call center agent to view their system as to how many times in a month this occur, they either are not equiped or just blatantly just dont care. BUT MY MAIN PROBLEM IS THAT EVERYTIME AN OPENSERVE TECHNICIAN CAME TO MY PROPERTY THEY ALWAYS ADVISE HOW TROUBESOME THE XYCEL MODEM IS . AND YET TELKOM DOES GRASP OR TAKE RESPONSILBILTY FOR THE FAULTY EQUIPMENT. IT IS SAD THAT IT TAKES PLATFORMS LIKE THESE THAT WE HAVE TO VENT OUR FRUSTRATION ABOUT SERVICE DELIVERY AND PLATFORMS LIKE THIS YOU GET RESPONSE FROM THE COMPANY IN QUESTION. AND YET IT WOULD BE SO MUCH EASIER IF COMPANIES LIKE THESE VALUED THEIR CUSTOMERS AND OFFERED THEM BASIC SERVICE DELIVERY AND CUSTOMER SATISFACTION.
