Telkom. Pidgeon post of the 21st century.

As today is "Black Friday", I am seriouly considering buying a new cellular phone, and leaving my 50 year association with Telkom behind me. As an 85 year old pensioner, with a small pension that has been fixed for the last 20 years, I feel as though I am being coerced into buying the latest radion telephonic system. After a serious fault on my landline system, I have received absolutely no help whatsoever, and feel isolated in my house, where I suffer ill health. When I persistently report the fault, I get repeated messages on my old mobile phone saying n"the problem has been resolved, when NOTHING WHATOEVER has been done. I know what the fault is, but in spite of numerous requests, no technician has been to my place of residence. Watch this space.
