TELKOM PATHETIC SERVICE

I signed up for fibre with a Telkom employee , who was promoting the Vumatel fibre internet in my area during November 2018. I was assured that i would not be charged for the upgrade as i was upgrading from an existing Telkom ASDL line.I had gone to a Telkom store at Kenilworth Centre, where I enquired about the Fibre internet in my area and the consultant assured me that It was fine to sign up as Telkom was not sure when the company would lay the cables in my area. After much deliberation, I decided to give Vumatel the go ahead to install the fibre connections in my house. This was done in January. However, after several phone calls and visits to Telkom, the fibre was not operative. Eventually someone at the Kenilworth Telkom branch gave me a number to call and the technician connected my fibre internet. So after 4 months my fibre internet was eventually working. Hoorah! Now to my dismay, Telkom charges me for the installation of the fibre, for an ASDL line as well as fibre internet line during February. I phone the billing department, receive a reference number and am told a dispute will be lodged and the amount will come off my account. An instruction will be placed to cancel the ASDL line. I receive my March statement and to my dismay, the billing is still there. I phoned again and the consultant tells me that she has taken the fibre installation off, but I must phone sales now to cancel the ASDL line. I phone them and am then referred back to billing. SO WHO IS RESPONSIBLE.? THE SERVICE IS PATHETIC. It looks like the consultants do not know what their job descriptions are. I am so sorry that I upgraded to Fibre internet. How do I resolve this? I am so frustrated with Telkom's pathetic service
