Telkom Park Station

I went to a Telkom shop based in Park Station to do a simple SIM Swap and was told I need to wait 3 to four working days for the back office to complete it with very little explanation other than that apparently, my fingers must be dry & therefore fingerprint verification would not go through.

My dry fingers managed to be successfully verified earlier that same day at my bank. Also to what are my fingerprints being cimpared/verified considering when I intitally Rica'd my sim card, no fingerprints were taken?

Very unfriendly, uncommunicative, unnecessarily long and incredibly poor service.
