telkom paarl no service

Hi, went to the Telkom Shop in Paarl mall. The assistant lost my sim card for my new wifi rooter. after a hour on Saturday 30 march he gave me the product with a promise to do the sim swap and call me. I went back on Sunday the staff said my consultant is off and they can't handle his case. when I phoned this morning this consultant is back at work only on Wednesday. i can't understand that nobody from telkom at the store can help me with the sim swap. they not interested in helping , i must wait for Wednesday. that is unacceptable
