Telkom online useless

Telkom online is to put it bluntly - useless. Both my fiancé and I are due for upgrades, after checking out the website, we see "online specific" deals for the Apple XS, we put in our request for the rose gold and the silver black ones (only options on the site). We both get confirmation sms's that they will contact us. The account is in my fiancés name so he waits for the call. Numerous calls to us, as soon as we pick up they put down. Informed they are having technical issues. No problem, call us when you can. They finally phone us again and we are then told they no longer have stock. I find this hard to believe when the "online special" is still available on the site. After complaining we are informed they will order for us. Now we want to check up, no one can tell us if it was ordered or not, we cannot get a reference number at all. So we then decide fine, we will go for the Apple 11, but we are blocked online now. We have to go into a store to get it unblocked, then do it all again. What is the point of having an online platform if it doesn't work to its full capacity and still requires me to go into a store to essentially resolve the problem?????
