Telkom on their own time

So this waiting game is annoying. Constantly being told to change over to their new system as the landline system is changing. Before the end on February they said and so I did. Come June and the line gets cut and I was still waiting. Courier my new phone they said. Call them and all they say is someone will call you. Its October and still nothing.. Why are they still the only telecommunications around.. Will I ever be helped.
