Telkom not supplying any service

Our entire area has been without Telkom service for over 2 months due to cable theft. Telkom informed us that the cables won't be replaced and we will receive alternative service. Existing contracts are obviously not honoured any longer, we have app**** for a new service, paid the deposit and have received nothing in return. Calling them from a cellphone is too costly as one holds for hours and then is transferred from one person to the next. Telkom shops refer us back to the customer care line. Reference numbers already received for complaints seem to disappear on the system and nobody knows what is going on. This is disastrous and unacceptable and I would like to speak to some person in charge of these issues
