TELKOM NOT REPLACING LANDLINE WIRES

Good Morning... Telkom is now forcing residence in under privileged areas to now move to contract phones because they wont replace the landline. we have lived at our residence our whole lives, we have paid telkom on time but because we live in an area not as influential as say Durbanville or Oranjezicht telkom is forcing my parents to take a contract phone just to have a landline. We have been without a landline since last year and Telkom is not willing to replace our line at all.

This is a ************** to the people in and around our area. I expect Telkom to replace our lines and assist this community. We have so many people that are unable to have a contract phone BUT has had a landline for many years and able to pay these bills.

I hope more people come together regarding this matter.
