Telkom not living up to promises

I asked telkom to install and ADSL line for me.

My line got installed on tuesday, technicians said that the line is working, but they installed a voice line and they were not aware that i required ADSL. mistake no.1

Now when I try register for adsl with my isp, they say the line is not active. I got hold of telkom, and they said the line is active, then i spoke to another agent, and they said the line takes 48 hours to activate. mistake no.2

Now 48 hours have passed, and the line is STILL NOT active. mistake no.3

Now I hear because they did not install adsl the first time, I must wait 14-30 working days for the line to be converted.

This all could have been avoided if: the agents heard what i asked for or the agents did not HANG UP ON MY CHATS!

I am utterly disgusted, and cant wait to move out of this country where nothing works, and no one want to work.

I am highly frustrated with the service I have received

PLEASE can this get escalated, as i can do no work from home as i planned

Telkom Ref: ********** 19

Supposed Line number: ********** 883

To increase the frustration, I get a response from the facebook message I sent (trying all methods to get a solid answer) saying "Looking at the details that you have given, it seems that there is no active order for a DSL service". Did you read my initial message? Did you check through chat logs before accusing me of being the party who is incorrect?
This message also came through after my ISP ordered the line to be converted.
Apparently line is finally active, but lord knows if this is true, or what/when/ how i will eventually get the ADSL line which I ordered.
