Telkom not complying with the CPA
On 1 Apr 2015 I called Telkom to find out what the process is regarding a cancellation. They advised me to send a mail to their cancellations department (gave wrong email address) a month before my expiration which I did in Jun 2015. I submitted my cancellation with no feedback. When I called back they gave me a new process and an email address. I now had to complete a contract to cancel a contract? It seems completely ridiculous but I did it anyway. I then did that and they did cancel my contract but without giving dates as to when this will be cut off. I noticed the wifi stopped working and I used my mobile to connect.

Then last week it appeared that I was connected again on the SIM service that was cancelled. Telkom confirmed that they didn't disconnect all the SIMS and accidentally reconnected some sims but that they are going to bill me for their error anyway as they see fit. I have no rights

They are in breach of the legislation. According to the CPA ACT they have 20 days to disconnect my service, but according to them they will take 20 days to get back to you and at their own discretion will bill you even if you have cancelled your contract with a 60 day notice period.
