Telkom not able to return a credit

We closed our business account with Telkom. But it turns out Telkom owes us R479,90. So I contacted them to get it back but they can only pay it back to a business bank account which does not exist. we closed the business bank account some time ago as the business did not do much business. I was paying the monthly Telkom account from another account. And so now according the representative on the phone there is absolutely no other way they can return the outstanding monies to us. I find this unacceptable. The company has only one director, why can they not make the payment to the director in this exceptional case?
