TELKOM - NO SERVICE PUT THEY EXPECT YOU TO PAY AND WILL HAND YOU OVER TO DEBT COLLECTERS

At the beginning of January 2019 the phone lines were ****** in our area. We reported it numerous times but to no avail. At the end of January 2019 I settled the outstanding amount and eventually Telkom revealed that they were not re-instating the phone lines in our area. In the beginning of April 2019 I cancelled the service. Today I get a message from NuDebt that I owe Telkom R 872.79 and my account has been handed over to them. They can not "help" me unless I give them my ID number but who the HELL would be trying to sort this **** out other than me. Any way they can shove the account as there is NO WAY I am paying for a service I did not receive.
