Telkom - No service, bad weather.

Every time it rains, my Telkom line disconnects. This is really becoming bothersome. I have logged multiple faults on this issue.

When Telkom technicians finally respond, the rainy weather has long since passed and my internet connection is back to its usual pathetic state.

I then telephonically explain to the technician that the intermittent service is caused by rainfall. His reply was that the cables are not well maintained and it will be an issue.

Shortly afterwards I get a call from Telkom, notifying me, that if I log a fault again, while there is no fault, I will be charged a call-out fee.

Telkom, there is a fault, there will always be a fault until you fix the poorly maintained lines that I am paying for each month.

So what am I supposed to do now? Sit without service that I am paying for? Log an ACTUAL fault and get billed for it? Or depend on you to actually do your part of the contract?
