TELKOM - No Repairs
On 29 April, we reported to Telkom that our landline had gone dead the day before. We tested the appliance at another house and it worked fine. So it had to be the line itself. Of course we used ANOTHER phone to report the fault, because our landline was dead, duh!
We received an sms that read: Fault 579 CRZ290415 was created, Telkom will endeavour to resolve the problem within 9 days, stating the OTHER landline. We phoned to rectify the error. 9 days?! Well, we waited.

We received a progress report on 5 May and another sms, saying that the fault had been repaired for THE LANDLINE WE REPORTED THE FAULT FROM!
My husband phoned again to have the problem rectified. Another sms on 11 May said: Fault 385 CRZ110515 was created, Telkom will endeavour to resolve the problem within 6 days. This time for the correct landline. 6 days? We live in South Africa and are patient. We are still waiting.

Telkom, I'd like an explanation for the bad service, hearing problem of frontline staff and why the fault is not being repaired after 3 weeks!
Guess, what I will say, when Telkom-Marketing phones again and tries to sell me an upgraded service...
