Telkom Negligance refuse to take responsibility. Customer liable for blatant disregard of customer request then blaming client

When I took the R 199 data contract for 10Gigs during the day, I requested repeatedly and explicitly requested the sales individual on the phone to remove any spend limit or cap that would cause me to be liable for more than the R 199. I understood that request to have been adhered to only to learn it was not. When Telkom deducted over R 1000 from the account I called to find out. They proceeded to tell me I am liable for the spend. I asked what about the call recording and my explicit request to not use the service. Since then I have been transferred from pillar to post with Telkom stating I am liable. My query is the negligence of their sales individual who only had to click a button that indicates I did not agree to the service. I currently have another contract with a cellular network provider and believed I had app**** due diligence when I took this contract only to learn I am liable for Telkom’s negligence.

I have since allowed Telkom to take my money for the purpose of my credit history, however, I am not happy with being passed from pillar to post and my principle query being ignored in Favour of telkom.
