Telkom must be the most *********** telecoms service provider

The consultants at Telkom will surely cause me an early death. They really must be employing the most *********** idiots for consultants on the face of the earth. Only they wil know how they managed to stuff up such a simple and straight-forward request.

On the 3rd October 2017 I sent a request to ********** to release my ADSL line and put it in the holding pool so that my new ISP can access the line and take it over. And then I waited. On 9 October 2017 I did a follow up and I was told that the matter will be escalated. And then I waited some more. On 23 October 2017 I followed up on the matter, just to be told that the matter has not been resolved. This was followed by more waiting. I called again on 24 October 2017 to be told that the matter has been elevated from being escalated, whatever that means. On both occasions I ask explicitly that the line not be cancelled but only be released and put in the holding pool. In the mean time I noticed on the 24th that I am without internet. Called again on the 25th to be told that it has finally been done. Just to find out that the *****s have cancelled my service and there is now line in the holding pool. I am struggling to find words to describe how irritated I am with these imbeciles. I have never come across this level of incompetence and this from a national service provider. HOW DO YOU MANAGE TO STUFF UP SUCH A SIMPLE REQUEST? I ask to speak a supervisor/team leader and the response? They are on training. More training to irritate normal people that just want a simple internet connection? Telkom never ceases to amaze me as they constantly strive and obtain new levels of incompetence. And the most irritating part of it: I have to request the service all over again. I then again will have to ask them to release the line into the holding pool. And there is a real 99,99999% chance they are going to stuff it up again. I cant wait to get fibre in my neighbourhood so I can wave these idiots goodbye!
