Telkom Mobile write off without a Telkom Mobile account

In 2013 I had a data account with Telkom Mobile. In September / October 2015 I called Telkom Mobile to cancel the contract that was past due date. The consultant told me that i dont have to cancel, i can go on month to month. I agreed, and assumed that its the same as pay as you go. We moved to Cape Town, and i switched bank accounts. I didn't Switch Telkom Mobile because in my mind it's pay as you go since i didn't sign any contract. I havent heard anything form Telkom Mobile since November 2015, so I didn't worry about it. I tried applying with Telkom Mobile for a data contract twice this year already, and was informed the first time that there is a outstanding amount of R 995.00 reflecting on my name. I don't have a Telkom Mobile account, and asked the representative to send me a invoice that I can see whats going on. Until now, I haven't received any statement, call, or even SMS to say that i owe you anything. I assumed you made a mistake and I forgot about it. On Monday, 23/10/2017 I tried to apply for a data contract again, and was told that there is a write off against my name in the amount of R 995.00. The manager at the Telkom Mobile Cape Gate shop launched a case ( NUMBER: ********** 0), and on Tuesday morning I received a email saying that case is resolved. The problem is that the case is not solved because I still haven't received any statement, email, call or SMS to explain what the R 995.00 is for, and even if I want to pay you the money I supposedly owe, I don't have Telkom Mobile's bank details or an account number to pay Telkom Mobile. I called the Contact center after receiving the "case resolved" SMS, and after 30 minutes holding, I finally spoke to a manager. The manager said he will "try" and get the statement and email it to me. Well..... it's Friday, and I still haven't received any emails, calls or SMS's from Telkom Mobile, and am still no closer to understanding what is going on. You can see that I have tried every reasonable avenue to get this sorted out, and this is my last option before asking Trans union to launch an investigation.
