Telkom Mobile without Mobile network coverage - worst ever

I would like to express my complete dissatisfaction with Telkom Mobile network coverage. Yesterday, 01/04/2019, I was caught up in a major traffic jam on the freeway on my way home after work. in the car with me I had my 5 month son and 14 year old brother. it was raining all day and cold. so you should appreciate my need to get my little son home. seeing that the traffic was so backed up I had to inform my husband who was waiting for us at home that we will be late. none to my surprise, the Telkom network refused to connect my call. both husband and I tried to get into contact with each other, and we both failed. we both have Telkom mobile packages. we tried each other numerously, even restarted the phone hoping this will help boost the signal - nothing worked, nothing helped. now imagine my frustration, I have a 5 month old in the back in a c*****at and I am stuck into stuck in traffic and no cell phone reception? I am truly dissatisfied and upset by this, imagine this could have been an emergency where I needed to get in contact with anyone, even emergency rescue for example and my cell phone had not network coverage. utterly disappointing Telkom. you are failing in your service delivery. (I live in the central Durban area, for your review of coverage for the area). however this could happen anywhere and Telkom needs to be doing better.
