Telkom Mobile TERRIBLE Service

<p>In July 2016 we bought a Samsung GLXY J1 DS GLD 8GB through Telkom Mall@Reds, branch no 3102. We send the device in for repairs on 30 April 2017 from the same branch. Received the device back on 25 May. Took it back on 27 May, had the same faults. Also the screen is lifted in one corner and loose. Lady at Telkom Mall@Reds who help us said we should have checked the screen before we took the phone on 25 May and therefor nothing can be done about that, we will have to pay to fix the screen. She will send the phone back to the technicians to fix the originally reported faults. We disagree, the phone is still under warranty and there is nothing we could have done to loosen the screen. She also said that there is nothing to be done to speed up the repair process, we will have to wait again for 4-6 weeks! We asked to speak to a Manager but was told that there wasn’t a Manager in store that day and also not a Manager available by phone. On 2 June we received a sms stating that Telkom Mobile deem the device as out of warranty and we must pay R1629.00 (our warranty expires in July 2017!!). I went back to Telkom Mall@Reds and after the Consultant told me she cant help to inform the Technicians we dont exept the quotation because of the Warranty that has not expired yet we must just wait, another Consultant offered to help by sending an email to the relevant department explaining our request and asked that they phone me on Monday, 5 June. NO ONE PHONED ME . I also send an email yesterday again to Telkom and Samsung requesting help BUT no reply</p>
