Telkom mobile , Sont experia Bad quality phone , frustration like you wont believe!!!!!!

<p>We took out 2 contracts with Telkom mobile in Jan 2016 and got an Ipad and a sony Z5 spectra .</p> <p>From the start phone (sony) Had a freezing problem that whould happen once in a while.</p> <p>However ,every month it would get worse and worse. Also the main camera quality got so bad that i had to use the front camera for pictures !</p> <p> </p> <p>no wonder hardly anyone uses experia! </p> <p> </p> <p>Now comes the telkom story,uhhhhhgh</p> <p>i hate complaining about cellular contracts but i have to !</p> <p>I have been trying to book the phone in at cape gate telkom and was sent away due to them needing a POD .Once i finally had it ,i was met by a trainee on the day who booked in the phone .After spending almost an hour in the shop with the trainee trying to figure out how to book the phone it i got my copy of the job card and left.</p> <p>one week later i get a message on my phone to say that the phone is out of warranty and that i must pay R4500 cash into there bank account , even though the phone is on contract and has a 2 year warranty!!</p> <p>now today i phoned mpho and she explains that when the phone was booked in the trainee noted that the screen is scrached and slightly dented on the sides , huh ?</p> <p>ife used this phone everyday i bought a cover on day one , this phone was well protected and looked after.</p> <p>now what i know is ,is that the experia has a scrach proof glass IOW no sctaches and the so called slight dent is actualy a tiny scrach on the side as in so tiny you have to physically look for it to see it . You cant tell me that after 10 months of daily use that the phone wont have a little bit of wear on it!</p> <p>Now for the best part , The repair centre claimed that the wattanty is now voided due to Physical DAMAGE!</p> <p>Because when it was booked the trainee 1st week on the job diacnosed that the screen was scrached and the phone has dents on the sides of the PHONE !!!!!</p> <p>The screen was actualy dirty and was wiped clean when it went into the box , no scraches Cant believe this level of incomp from TELKOM!!!</p> <p> </p> <p>this is what im being told byPaulina on the phone from courier it ,now im wondering why im talking to courier it and not the repair centre. Oh she tells me that telkom will not disclose that info to any customer!!! </p> <p> </p> <p>Now tell me Telkom i want to see proof of this so called physical Damage and from that tiny scrach (slightly dented on the side ) according to the trainee that became a expert cellphone repair technitian overnight! </p> <p>Id like to know how that would affct the phone from heating up and freezing ( and the blurry camera lens ) !!!</p> <p>i want to at least see a cracked motherboard or something </p> <p>showing me how physical damage effected the phone!</p> <p> </p> <p>Really,if the phone was so badly damaged that it actually had real dents on the side and a cracked screen i would not even have bothered booking it in !!!!!!</p> <p> </p> <p>This whole situation is so rediculous !
