Telkom mobile sales useless

<p>On 01.03.2017 I asked for a consultant to call me as I wanted to secure a free me 1gb contract for my mother-in-law. Amanda from WNS, the company Telkom now uses to deal with telesales, called me. Everything went well. Contract was approved subject to payment of 1st debit order, which was deducted from my bank account on 7 March. 22 March I called customer services to track my order. After being sent from one dept to another, and being on my cell for almost 2hrs, I eventually got thru to Onke, another WNS consultant. She advised that the application appears to have been canceled due to lack of stock. To date no-one can answer as to why my money has not been refunded to me! The staff handling the fb messenger site have really tried to help, by escalating my complaint / query to the correct depts, but they can only do so much. </p> <p>I will go to my bank tomorrow to see if they can reverse the debit order, but doubt I will have much success there! But I expect someone with knowledge & authority from Telkom to have the decency to call me & explain what happened here! All they are saying is that there are no pending orders in my name! </p> <p>Seems a bit ridiculous to spend so much money on advertising products that no-one can buy! </p>
