Telkom mobile SA deleted my number to avoid taking responsibility. Beware of this network

<p>I have been trying to get my number back which had been a prepaid and which was supposed to have been migrated to contract. The number in question is ********** 316. For sometime I could see the number under my profile and even their call centre agents could see it. But now the number had altogether disappeared and now their call centre agents tell me its not on theit network. What kind of nonsense is this? What I see has happened is that they have deleted it so no one from them takes the fall. I wonder if they are prepared to compensate me for the loses I now incur by being unreachable. I have been with every other network and I have never experienced such unprofessional conduct by a network. My advice is if you are reading this, don't consider joining this network. I have read other reviews and I regret why I joined them before going through reviews here. They have been telling me that a technician will contact me but nothing of the sort has happened. I have lodged numerous complaints but none has received attention. Their call centre is just there to get rid of you. Nothing helps in contacting their call centre. </p>
