TELKOM MOBILE ROAMING - *******

In Dec 2019, I activated my roaming services as I was travelling out of SA in January 2020. With this activation, I was told to sign & submit forms for the request & the limits required for this. I stated that my limit should be R1000 for roaming. During my trip, I made 1 phone call which was about 10 minutes long and I was billed R2517.46 for this call. I sent an enquiry to Telkom on the 12th March 2020, which to date, after numerous emails to Telkom's *** , I have still not received feedback or had this problem resolved. All I am told is that it is being referred to Telkom Mobile. I would like to know what is the purpose of completing the roaming request, with SET LIMITS, if this limit is not enforced? As a customer, I stated the limit & expected that my service would be stopped once the limit was reached. Telkom is giving a false sense of security to customers & allowing customers to be in debt for much more that they commit to. Why are they offering a service that they cannot provide? Why should I as the customer be liable for 150% more than what I specifically requested, in writing, if Telkom did not enforce this from their side???
