Telkom Mobile Repairs Within Guarantee - Phone does not work after sent to Bradian Logistics
On the 25 January 2019 I took my cellular phone for repairs to TELKOM CENTURION MALL. Phone was booked in for repairs as the WiFi and Bluetooth stopped working. I was then notified later on that my phone was sent to Bradian Logistics via an sms and by a Bradian Logistics consultant. They informed me that my Huawei P8 Lite would cost R3408.09 to fix. I told them not to proceed as the Telkom agent who booked in the phone said the phone is with the warranty and I would not need to pay as it was still in year one of the cellualrphone contract. The phone I booked in could be purchased brand new for less than the value quoted for repairs. I therefore had to pay (paid R189.75) Bradian Logistics to get my phone released. Fetched my phone on 16 February 2019 and it does not switch on at all. Also the back cover is loosed and this was not the condition when I gave in my phone for repairs. I cannot use this phone to make calls or use the applications on this phone. I also made the TELKOM consultant who booked in my phone to state my phone was in good working order besides the bluetooth and wifi not working. What do I do now ? TELKOM please assist me, I have many subscriptions/products with your company.
