Telkom Mobile ignores it's customers

I started a contract with Telkom Mobile on the 16th of January, 2014, for a Sony Xperia GO. The phone was found to be faulty and returned for repairs. After waiting over a month for 'repairs' to take place, it still did not work and was taken at the time to the Claremont branch in Cape Town, who held on to it for over a month. Only after they swore and fought with my daughter, we took it back to the Pavilion branch for repairs. Over a month later, they replaced the device with a new one, which didn't work either and took so long my 1 year warranty ended. They now wanted to charge me over R1000 to fix a faulty phone they supp****. After speaking to the branch manager, Vernon, who doesn't seem to know how to solve these issues, he advised me to write a formal complaint which he would communicate to his senior managers and that he would handle the matter. It has now been THREE MONTHS since I submitted my complaint and I still haven't received a response, not to mention almost 21 MONTHS since the I started the contract and haven't once been unable to use the phone I'm paying for. I'm not sure whether to be disgusted by the branches mentioned or Telkom Mobile as a whole...
