Telkom Mobile - Frustrated and very dissapointed!

<p>I have taken out a Telkom Mobile contract 5 months ago. The monthly installment is R190, which includes the device and data. If you go over the data limit you will have to pay out of bundle rates. However, there is a mobile service of Telkom that you can use to cap the amount that you agree can go over the limit. So on the 2nd of February 2017 I have used the mobile service customer number to cap my "limit" to R10 which will make my debit order amount a maximum of R200 per month. I have the confirmation SMS still on my phone where it states : 'Dear Customer, please be advised that your spending limit was changed to R10 and will be effective from the 1st of the following month"" This will then mean from the 1st of March 2017. This month I got an enormous shock when all of a sudden R590 was debited from my account!! I contacted Telkom and got a case reference number ********** 1 where they would investigate the matter. Now if I had called in the lady says and put a spending limit on then they could refund me, so I explained that I have capped my amount and I have proof but I used the self service option that Telkom advised me on when I took out the contract. As said before, I have the confirmation SMS to proof this. So, yesterday I received an SMS saying : Dear Customer, please be advised that, unable to credit spend limit because you have utilized the service. Telkom Support. 081180. I find this unacceptable as I have app**** and received confirmation that there is a R10 spending limit on. Please can someone assist me in this matter. I need my money back asap and I know I will get no where trying to contact them again, I have read hundreds of complaints against Telkom when I did a search on the Internet. Thank you. Ivy</p>
