Telkom mobile fails to close my account after 4 month struggle

<p>On 3 February 2016 I calld Telkom mobile and informed them I want to close my Telkom Mobile account at the end of March 2016 when the two-year contract period is finished. (I knew that a month's notice is required so I started the process early. </p> <p> </p> <p>The operator, Ayanda, then proceeded to send me the necessary form to complete, which I did and sent to the email address that was provided to me (***). On the form it clearly states that the notice period will be calculated from the date the form was mailed, but that it could take 21 business days to respond to the email. So I waited patiently, but no call was ever made, not even recognition of receipt of the email.</p> <p> </p> <p>Telkom continued to debit the monthly amount in March, April and May after I sepcifically cancelled the contract.</p> <p> </p> <p>I proceeded to send them another email on 26 April 2016 @ 10:12 explaining to them what happened and asking them to resolve the matter ASAP. On 25 May 2016 @ 8:50 I finaly received a response to my email stating that my Case Ref No ***1 has been logged abd that someone would be in contact with me to advise the turn-around-time it will take to address and resolve the matter with me.</p> <p> </p> <p>12 days later and no one has contacted me yet.</p> <p> </p> <p>I am at the end of my rope, and don't know how else to proceed than to ask hello.peter for help with this matter. I cannot afford to pay another month's pyment to Telkom Mobile, please help me.</p> <p> </p>
