Telkom Mobile Contact no cancelled

I signed a 24 month data + tablet contract with Telkom Mobile 2 years ago, it expired October this year. I was told to fill in a cancellation form in and email it ********** or ********** one month BEFORE the end of contract date. So I sent the email the 1st of September and phoned Telkom to ask if it was received, the call centre agent acknowledged this.

So moving a month on I received a bill for 15 days in October. I didn't want to sound petty because it was only R44, so I phoned them and asked why it was that. The call centre agent responded that I took out the contract in the middle of October and that's why I was billed. I don't remember this, but being R44 I thought it doesn't matter, and I specifically asked AGAIN - is my data contract cancelled - "Yes sir it is cancelled".

So another month passes, (now November), I received my bill and low and behold the data contract is still there. I was billed for the rest of October AND November! For the rest of October it was another R44 (Thus in total October R88?) and November R125. So I phoned the call centre AGAIN. The agent tells me, "no sir your contract is not cancelled". Why not? "No I can see we got the cancellaion email, there is a note on the system but it is not cancelled" I then politely asked if he can cancel it now. "No I cannot do that sir, my manager needs to speak to you, but he is currently not available and will phone you back."

Nobody has phoned me back, nobody has said anything to me. I gave my email address and phone numbers to call me, but nothing. I cannot comprehend why a large company like Telkom will lie about contract cancellation. Or the fact that they cannot do their job. I know it is not a lot of money, but this is rediculous that I must pay for Telkom's mistake. Twice in a row now do I pay AND get **** to.
