Telkom mobile bad service and utter negligence

<p>On the 9th of January 2017 my mobile device was booked in for repairs due to battery and software mulfunctining. Today being the 31st of January this device has not been returned by Telkom as yet, we have called Telkom countless times as in search of why has the phone taken more than 3 weeks to repair. No one has taken the accountability to either communicate with us in letting us know what is happening with the phone, yet I am a paying customer who has never skipped any payment and as I am writing this complaint today being the last day of the month the debit order has just went through in order to make the payment to Telkom. When it was time for the upgrade I got sms after sms and not mentioning the calls for me to come and do the upgrade as in 2 months in advance but now that Telkom has its money and has reached its sales target now how my life has been inconvienced by this dilema is non of their business thus even after I called the store in Rosebank, called their call centre in Pretoria and also their Repair centre in Pretoria non of which has bothered to return my call. Not to mention how that device only reached the repair centre weeks later after it was taken to the store on the 9th meaning it only went to the repair centre on the 25th of January of which I am told that I should only expect it within 14 to 21 days after the 25th I mean how pathetic can a service provider be or how negligent can one get in doing their jobs properly. I mean the least they could have done was to formally inform us about any problems and not just ignore us as if they are making us a favor. I am saying because this phone was taken for me by my husband yet I am the one using it, as such since we dont owe them anything we deserve some respect, accountability on their part and at the very least a formal apology and some compensation even if it means them giving me a new phone at the very least just to make up for the hell they have put us throug.
