telkom (mobile) and co (buymondo)

<p>I have been hearing people saying that customer service in SA in amongst the poorest anywhere in the planet but telkoms' outsourced partner BUYMONDO has proved this.</p> <p>Initial call (“sale date”) – Justice 30.09.2016 form buymondo called offering the world, moon and three starts – handset received 11/12.10.2016 outside of the three day turnaround time provided by Justice</p> <p>Saturday 12.10.2016 –I went to the Telkom store in Northgate mall to log dispute and arrange return of handset, I was advised by the nice lady that "we have had many issue with these companies" (i took that to mean buy mondo) and she logged a query with ref: Case ********** 6</p> <p>Christine – 18.10.2016 I made a call to request cancellation, and was advised to courier handset (at my expense) as their collection could take months. I then raised my dissatisfaction with having to pay for courier service and Christine said she would ask her "manager" if i could be refunded. On hearing this I requested to be CCed on correspondence with manager (not done). Email sent to ********** with ID as reference = I have never and donk i will ever received response from this email.</p> <p> </p> <p>Follow up (after courier collected handset) and having had no acknoledgement from the courier company or buy mondo. i took to the phone again and found that the courier had delivered the handset 21.10.2016 – Mfundo, received call and referred to – Kimona who suggested I email Proof of payment to same email address and that an investigation would be logged for a refund for “admin fee of R99 charged, investigation normally takes 7-10 days.</p> <p> </p> <p>It is now day 13 and I have heard nothing from buy mondo, telkom, Christine, Mfundo and their manager Kimona Pillay.</p> <p> </p> <p>I want my R99 and R137.60 back, I comp**** with your rules in regards to cooling off period and the ridiculous request to send your phone back to you myself even though you mouth peice (justice) said you would collect it. </p>
