Telkom Mobile

I requested for my Telkom Mobile contract to be cancelled in October 2016. I was told by Telkom East Rand Mall and a telephone conversation from Telkom Customer Care in November 2016 that my contract has been cancelled. In December 2016 my bank account was debitted with almost R3000 and I gave instruction to my bank to reverse the debit orders. On the 10 of January 2017 I forward another email through to Cancellations and requested again for proof of cancellation, up to this moment I didn't receive any feedback from Telkom.

On the 17th of January 2017 my sim/line was just blocked while I was busy with a phone call. I phoned Telkom Customer Services and the consultant was so tired he was yourning the whole conversation through and told me that I need to go to the branch in the East Rand Mall they must sort out the problem. After an hour spend in the East Rand Mall with Telkom consultants - no luck - the concultant at Customer Care inform me that Telkom can only handle one complain at a time. I phoned again on the 18th of January 2017 (09:01)and the contract was still not cancelled. I was requested to email all the documentation to the consultant again - which I did. at 15:37 i contact customer care again and again I was told that the contract was still not cancelled and the case will be given to some department and that department will escalate the case back to cancellation department. Oh my word. I asked the consultant (Thembeka) when will my sim card been unblocked because I used my phone since October 2016 on pay as you go. I was told that the billing department will phone me first and that could only happen after 72 hours. Unacceptable. Telkom is easy to debit your account but very bad service if they are in the wrong and need to sort out their mistakes.

Could someone from Telkom - not a consultant - a manager or supervisor with the correct knowledge please get in contact with me regarding this issue. I need some clarification. I am on the road constantly and need to be in contact with my work.

G'Day Busi

I am now really confused. According to you via your reply through Hello Peter I need to pay the amount of R955.46 for my sim card to be unblock. Telkom just put through another debit order for the amount of R1857. What is this for. This is now really getting out of hand. What is the problem at Telkom.

Is anybody at Telkom know what they are doing. I just received another phone call from Telkom ask if I want to cancel my contract because the contract is still not cancelled. I was also informed by the caller from Telkom that the prepaid airtime that I put on the ********** 209 I will not receive that airtime. That is my money that I put on my phone not for Telkom just to take the money. I told the caller that I need this contract cancelled and my card unblocked. Can this problem please please please been resolved I am getting sick and tired of this.

G'Day, it seems that Telkom doesn't care what is going on. My contracts is still not cancelled and my sim card is still blocked. Not even a phone call, sms, message, nothing. Dead quite. So according to me no interest from Telkom to its customers. I tried to contact Telkom customers services but they just don't answer the call. Telkom is quickly to debit a bank account for the money but when a customer needs a service it doesn't count at all. This is absolutely insane.
