Telkom Mobi Talk *****

My wife & i were called by Telkom Mobi Talk sales department and offered a 4G Router with speeds of 85 Mb p/s Download speed and 25Mb p/s Upload speed on the Telkom 4G network, we were told we are in a 4G area covered by a dedicated 4G Tower that only serves Data Internet, not Voice.After speaking to the sales person that promised the world, we were told that if the Router does not perform or achieve speeds promised as advised and that if we were not satisfied, we could return the router in 7 days.When we tested on Ookla [URL Removed] we were shocked, the best speed achieved was 2Mb p/s upload & 5Mb Download, my Telkom3g Router does the same speeds, so what is the point, we must pay R430 P/M over 36mths for pathetic network speeds? We called them, they sent their courier and the router was returned in original packaging to them within the seven days.Not to our surprise they have now gone and debited R600.00 and claim this is for internet we utilised?Shocking, we did a few OOKLA Tests and packaged their goods for return, the person we spoke to has also accused us of using Data, clearly their is no respect or trust left anymore, especially to a potential new Telkom client,scary!
