Telkom Mo Winz Promo ****s

I have been a Telkom customer for over 10 years now. I have a data contract with them and I am quite happy with the service received thus far. However a lot of ******** are using their platform and competitions in order to **** people of their hard earned money. ******** have become extremely believeable and are very convincing in their quest to milk you of your money. I lost R1200 today believing that I’ve been picked in their Mo Winz Promo to win R10 000 and a Samsung phone. These *******s use *** number. They spin you a story of buying airtime for this number to reach a certain amount of points in order to qualify for the reward then they convince you to send R1000 to the Nelson Mandela Fund or Gift of the Givers in order to redeem your R10 000 reward. So angry with myself for falling for this but I hope this review can actually alert even one person out there to NEVER EVER send money under the false pretence of your getting a reward after payment. We are all desperate for money, but when something is too good to be true, follow your gut feeling and drop that call! I hope these idiots get what’s coming to them. As for Telkom, thank you for your great service but perhaps warn your customers of such ****s as they are becoming more and more common nowadays!
