Telkom - Misled by Sales Consultant
If I could select zero stars , I would if possible. I am absolutely disgusted with the service I have received from Telkom and such an inconvenience financially it has now placed on me.
I have been a loyal customer of Telkom since "8-ta" days and have never experienced any issues until now. I upgraded to a data plan roughly about 2 years ago, LTE 60gig + 60gig which was R399 a month, this year I had come across the August Special for home Fibre which was the same price but more beneficial as it was uncapped. I had called a sales consultant and advised her I cannot afford to keep both packages but would it be possible for me to migrate from the LTE to the Fibre she assured me that my contract was up for renewal and it would not be an issue and proceeded with her sale, after 10mins of reading me the agreements and terms and conditions, I asked her again if this would not be a new sale but a migration like I stated initially, she again assured me this would not be the case.
End of August i received 2 invoices, for my mobile contract, the data LTE one and Fibre and was highly confused I was then debited close to R1200 on the 1st of October and was absolutely livid - I proceeded to then follow the website method of logging cancelations and a case was opened and the closed the very next day with no feedback.
My invoice has come again for the month of September and i still my LTE service is active - I then contacted the customer service and spoke to Pearl who was anything but sincere and merely just confirmed to be that the LTE data plan was still active and she cannot cancel and referred me to the website yet again or to alternatively go into a Telkom Store. I logged a case AGAIN with reference number ***1 , previous reference number is ***7
Is the sales consultant that mislead me going to the money she owes me out of her own pocket?????????????
