Telkom misleads us consumers
I've upgraded to a huawei p8, the technician cautioned me that if I had any problems within 7 days they would gladly swop it out for me. What a lie! To my unfortunate surprise on day one it started to heat up to a point that I could not even use it , on day 6 I took it back with the intention that it would be swopped ,however,a fault was not found. Bare in mind I had it for 6 days and used it. The assistant then said I must use the phone and come back day 7 and see from there (what does this mean?) Another day! it was a major inconvienance to me upon that I asked to speak to the manager who kept on alluding to the fact that his hands are tied and the only solution is to send it in and he will loan me an S4 mini . I was fuming, S4 mini doesnt even take the P8 sim how was I even receive calls or emails . so I thought what nonsense is this! firstly the structure of the conversation was laid out as if I was lying that the phone heated up to a point where I thought it will explode, secondly telkom refuses to keep up to their word and swop over this phone that is actually endangering my life. This highlights that we customers are not of priority but taking our money is.
