Telkom messed up my landline during their installation of the Fibre cables in my complex

Telkom installed fibre cables in the complex I live in, during May. I placed an order for the fibre cable with Telkom at the time order number ********** 48A - escalation ********** .

However, while installing the fibre cable, they damaged the copper cable. My landline and ADSL are now both not working properly. I reported the fault - fault number 350CRK180517 escalation 983860. They fixed the landline, but to date they cannot tell me when the problem with the ADSL will be resolved. The ADSL works for about five minutes at a time, then goes off.

The call centre told me to go to the Telkom shop and get an integrated sim card for the ADSL, but the Telkom shop informed me they cannot place the order for the integrated sim card while the Fibre order is still open, so I am still sitting with no internet service.

I run a small consulting business from home, but have no internet access most of the time. This is affecting my livlihood. The earliest estimation date they can give me for the Fibre installation is 25th August. In the men-time, I am paying for a ADSL service which is not working and incurring expensive cellphone data charges for internet usage.

Can somebody from Telkom, who actually understands their business please assist as the call centre agents don't seem to be able to understand the issue.

There was no feedback from anybody at Telkom on this matter. I finally had the fibre installed. The only help received was from the Openserve staff. It was only fully resolved yesterday, 1st August! Telkom service is appalling!
