Telkom LTE slow and not reliable

<p>I am not the type of person that likes to rant but goodness me, no one can carry on like this.</p> <p>I have had Telkom LTE for about a year now. The first 3 months was fine, good download speeds. Then all of a sudden it took me 2 minutes to download a 1mb file. After discussion with Telkom and tech services that phoned me the speeds increased again and were fine. After doing some investigation it was found that Telkom cannot handle all the data that they promote and thus slows down your speed. If you don’t complain the speeds will just stay slow. Why are they then still promoting up to 90mb/s ??</p> <p>That was not my biggest issue. Last week my Huawei rooter that I got from Telkom just cut off. I took it in to the shop at Tygervalley in Cape Town and they informed me that it will need to be send away for analysis. This will take 14 working days. Okay fine, so surely they will give me a loan router. O no my man sorry, “that is not a service we offer sir”. What?? The manager was very happy to tell me that they don’t have stock of loan units and that I must buy a new router if I want one in the meantime. Say whaaaaat?? So not only am I now paying for internet that I cannot use, I need to spend more money to buy a router while I await your defective router to be fixed. Crazy!! I don’t use my internet to browse facebook or twitter from time to time. I actually run a business from home which requires reliable internet services, and Telkom just proved again they cannot deliver that… Pathetic man!!!</p> <p> </p>
