Telkom LTE reception and support service

Dear Telkom, fault reference ********** 0 refer. I am a contractor so no work no pay. My Telkom LTE speed which used to be 21Mbps+ has decreased to 0.97Mbps download and 0.3Mbps upload (tested on your own speed test app). A technician was "supposed" to be here at 11:00 today 19 Decemver 2016, still no technician. I tried 5 times phoning +27 12 ********** to enquire why the technician is not here but the rings vary between 4 and 6 before the call is ended. Why must I sit at home, not get paid, waiting for someone who is late and I cannot even enquire why?! CATCH A WAKE-UP and ensure better customer service.

Hallo Keagan

Thank you for the reply. Mpho did indeed contact me and was at my house 15:30, not because he was late for his 11:00 appointment wih me but due to him having to drive all the way from Polokwane as that was where he spent his day, if he did not stop at mines on his way home then I would have spent the day waiting in vain and it would have cost me a days salary.

Mpho gave me excellent service, friendly and professional. My issue is with the scheduling and communication of the technical staff, they are the ones that have to face irrate customers although it is not their fault.

I trust his report on fault ********** 0 will be addressed accordingly as it seems as if I was moved from one tower to another without my consent, to go from average 20Mbps to less than 1Mbps due to this is NOT good customer service or service advertising.

Thank you - Peet

Dear Busi

Thank you, yes, my query has been logged already by one of your own technicians (Mpho) on 19 December 2016. Since then I did receive a call on 22 December 2016 which I could not attend to but phoned back twice (081 180) and although it is vacation period I am sure there are technicians who could have attended to this matter since then.

Are we again (please review my history with Telkom) in a situation where Telkom bills me full price but gives me zero service? Do Telkom really want their extremely bad technical support advertised on public domain?

Stop making excuses and attend to said problem, why must I sit and wait and pay every month for service I do not receive?

Thank you - Peet
