Telkom LTE promised the earth, but delivered a blackhole

<p>When I signed up for Telkom LTE, I was promised the following:</p> <p> </p> <p>PROMISED: 90 to 150 Mbps - BUT DELIVERED: 1.5 to 10 Mbps</p> <p>PROMISED: Cheaper than ADSL - BUT NOT TOLD: Top up is 5x more expensive than ADSL </p> <p>PROMISED: Stable, constant internet - BUT DELIVERED: Very unstable and inconsistent signal</p> <p>PROMISED: After logging a complaint, a Technician would come in 2 days - BUT DELIVERED: Technician never arrived after promising for months.</p> <p> </p> <p>After 6 months of complaining (with seven reference numbers and four visits to Telkom) and insisting the contract be cancelled, they finally collected the Router in August 2016. YET Telkom continues to deduct the LTE charges from my bank account to date, even though I don't even have an LTE router(!), and despite repeated promises to stop the debit order and refund all charges.</p> <p> </p> <p>I demand an immediate cancellation of the debit order (with proof), and refund of all monies. Unless my complaint is addressed, I will be forced to take further action.</p> <p> </p> <p>Enough is enough.</p>
