Telkom LTE - not great but not terrible, certainly not cheap.

Recently I tried to apply for the new 1TB LTE data promotion Telkom are currently running. I am Telkom LTE customer and I have had nothing but great service and constant internet up time. I am on the 220GB day & 220GB night package @R999 p/m. I was really looking forward to being able to sign up for the new 1TB data plan; as I am constantly running out of data each month and having to top up which makes the plan I'm on not ideal for my needs.

Once I had app**** online I very quickly received a call form an agent who wanted my particulars to finalize signing up. Once I had given my address the call centre agent then said that I would not be able to sign up for this 1TB plan because the area I stay in is "congested"

Makes absolutely zero sense as I am already a Telkom LTE user - It honestly seems to me that they are selective about who they allow to sign up for this new plan. They are probably well aware that they will get more money out of me by keeping me on my 220GB plan because I have to top it up each month.

Seems like ***** and dishonest business practices but that is only my suspicions.
