Telkom LTE data failure
Telkom sell LTE data services and provide a coverage map. Recently there has been a significant drop to their service offering, yet their coverage maps do not show this. I don't know if they have removed local masts, or if they have merely changed their model and outsource server connections, but the servers to my area (******* ; Vereeniging) are never Telkom, and are generally over 40km away (Joburg). Nowhere is there information on the reason for the poor data connection, yet packages are still marketed as before - ********* and *******

05 Sept 2024, 07:16Are Telkom management even aware of the loss of coverage in Vereeniging? What are they doing about it, is it a temporary thing, or is this how it will remain? Where can one obtain information concerning the situation?
