Telkom LTE contract states that I can cancel with one month notice. They do not adhere

I have given notice of my cancellation on 13/10/17. Received a reference and said that I needed to give one month notice. Contract is still not cancelled. Now they say I have to wait another 2 weeks but I have to pay for all the time in between. I did log a hellopeter call and all that Telkom say is that they will refer it. Nothing has happened, I have called their helpdesk numerous times and have proof of all the conversations. This is by far the worst service ever. Telkom is not adhering to their contract.
