Telkom LTE Contract Loaded as 60 Month

My Telkom Mobile LTE data contract was signed in 2014, I received the LTE router as part of the deal, I'm paying R399 pm for 10GB data, my knowledge was that this will be switched to month-to-month contract when it expires somewhere in the beginning of 2016, I went into the Telkom store at Eastgate to change this contract to the 50GB contract month-to-month to only find out my contract was loaded on their system as a 60 month contract instead of the 24 month contract, now I have to wait for them to investigate the matter??<br> <br> My mobile number for this contract is: ***

The only thing I have received from Telkom is a SMS stating the very obvious: Your contract has been loaded as a 60 month contract with start and end dates. I knew that already... This was logged to get to a reason how and why my contact was loaded as a 60 month contract??
